+ logan has always been fascinated by words, especially the ones the society likes to keep hidden. he always wonders what they look like written down, but has never seen writing on paper, only on screens. he knows thinking about writing is a dangerous thing to do in the society, but since when did he follow the rules?
 
+ fishing has always been a hobby for logan. when he was young he and his father would sneak away to wherever the wild fish were. now, somehow, logan has sweet talked his way into his job in the society: making sure there is enough of everything, including fish, to go around.
 
+ logan was always a night owl. he enjoys looking up at the sky and seeing the stars, something the society hasn't figured out how to control yet. to him, the stars are the only thing with true freedom.
 
dislikes -
 
+ logan hates the society's rules. he can't wait to break them. his biggest pet peeve is the matchings. how can you love someone because a program tells you to?
 
+ logan does not like secrets. though he has a few of his own, he often feels very guilty.
 
+ things are rough at home. logan has an unfortunate hatred for his mother. she follows the society rules very strictly, and often makes logan's life quite difficult, since he does not. this is also partly why he hates matches so much -- his father got a bad one.

+ emma has always been a romantic. her favorite story is how her great grandparents met.. before the society. now that they are gone, all emma has is her great grandmas locket, that she keeps hidden away. it is her prized possession.
 
+ like a few others, emma is immune to the red pill. she isn't quite sure why, but she enjoys being able to remember.. at times.
 
+ emma loves her job. she is one of the society's nurses. because she is so naive, she doesn't realize the work she does benefits the society, and not the people. but, regardless, she lives to help.
 
dislikes -
 
+ emma hates the cold. though she is a nurse, she gets sick rather easily. even if it's sunny... if the temperature is low, don't expect her to go outside, for any reason.
 
+ often, emma begins to hate herself. she can be very unstable, and she knows it, only giving her more reason to war with herself. she however, will never admit this to anyone.
 
+ she is terrified of heights. once when she was little, emma almost fell out of a tree. it is very hard for her to go up in tall buildings or stand on balconies.

+ naive, emma trusts everyone, and is easy to take advantage of.
+passionate, emma loves love, and will fight endlessly for what she believes in. once she get's going, there is no stopping her.
+ sassy, emma is quite witty, though she doesn't seem it. she is not the goody two-shoes she often appears to be. she'll tell it like it is.

tomorrow I'm going dress shopping with my less then feminine friend because she needs a graduation dress (: we are bringing all the 'girly girls' from school for support.
 
note: she asked us to do this for her, we are not trying to change her.
 
I'm rather excited, because she actually looks better in dresses and skirts then in pants when she does wear them.

Winnie shuffled her feet through the club to the nearest seat. She was cold, hungry, and honestly, not in the mood for dancing. But it was thanksgiving and her best friend /insisted/ she have a night out. Pulling her peanut butter hair into a bun, she shot a short, stubby man a glare until he got up from the red leather seat. Satisfied, she sat down at the bar and plonked her head onto it, groaning. She didn't care, people would just assume she was wasted. As the song changed, she sat up and gazed at the dance floor. She missed having someone to dance with. "A shot of tequila please. And maybe a beer after." She mumbled to the bar tender, spinning back around, not wanting to think about him. She needed a distraction.
 
Mason enjoyed his job quite alot. It was good pay, and in the best, most energetic city in the world. Then again, he hated having to run the whole damn hotel while his boss was playing rich man. This week however, his boss seemed particularly distracted. A few times Mason was tempted to ask him, but he knew it was best to back down and wait it out. All he knew was the hotel was expecting a very VIP guest, and all staff was to be present an hour before opening. So of course, he was right on time. He shoved a hand through his hair and tugged his sleeves back to their un-rolled position, covering his tattoos. Best behavior, said his boss. Look your best. Be on time. Make sure everyone else is on time. Make me coffee, black. "Do /not/ show your tattoos." Mason sighed heavily as the distinct memory of his boss saying that to him the night before surfaced. He was a good guy, laid back, trust worthy, but his tattoos were generally misleading. Who ever was about to arrive, was not to be "distracted" from her business, whatever that was.
